Oreo’s recently launched a new global campaign called “Stay Playful”. The “Stay Playful” features rapper Wiz Khalifa and his 5-year-old son Sebastian. The Oreo “Stay Playful campaign will run across multiple media channels. It will run across TV, digital and social media. A-15 second version of the “Stay Playful” spot was first released on YouTube. The 30-second version was aired during the Grammy Awards on February 10th. The whole campaign was created by the Martin Agency.
About the “Stay Playful” Spot
The “Stay Playful” spot starred rapper Wiz Khalifa and his son Sebastian. The spot tells a story of a busy dad( (Wiz Khalifa) and a son who mirrors his every move. In the spot, Wiz Khalifa is on the phone and when his son wants to play, he holds up his finger and mouths to his son to hold on. The tables turn, when Wiz Khalifa is ready to play and his son also holds up his finger and makes Wiz Khalifa wait as his talks on his toy phone. Then they both finally get to play and eat Oreos. With this new spot, Oreo is promoting its playful image while trying to promote family bonding. Oreo’s is trying to encourage people to take time to enjoy life, especially with their family.
