The campaign which is a digital campaign celebrates, promotes and projects Nigerian and African mothers. Three Crowns Mother’s day campaign celebrates mothers in a unique way by focusing on Mother’s Hair, precisely African Mother’s hair.
About Three Crown’s 2019 Mother’s Day Campaign
For Mother’s Day, Three Crown is celebrating mothers as the crown jewel at the heart of every home. The campaign is built on the common saying that Hair is the crown of every African mother. For the campaign, the milk brand is encouraging mothers to upload pictures of their African hairstyles that look like a Crown to their social media platforms. By doing this the brand is trying to drive the conversations around mums being the crown jewel at the heart of every home while emphasizing her African hairstyles. The mothers who participate will be rewarded.
Three Crowns will be promoting Nigerian and African hairstyle during the campaign. Some of the hairstyles include Shuku, Didi, Koroba, Face-me-I-Face-You, etc. The campaign will run from May 6th to May 12th where mothers can submit their pictures of African hairstyles. On May 12th the winners of the contest will be held in Owerri Imo State. The pictures and videos of winning hairstyles would be revealed on their social media pages by May 17th. The hashtags associated with the campaign include #ThreeCrownsAfricanQueen, #ThreeCrownsMilk, #ThreeCrownsMilk.
Three Crown Speaks on the Campaign
Speaking on the campaign, the Senior Brand Manager stated that Mums are saddled with physical and emotional responsibilities. Oftentimes her needs for good health and a healthy heart are often undervalued. The campaign is aimed at showing that the brand cares and appreciates mum as the heart of the family. She also stated that hair is the beautiful crown of the African woman. She spoke about how the brand wants to celebrate the different hairstyles of the African woman with her nourishing her hair with “Vitamin E” in Three Crowns Milk.
