Jack in the Box Appoints Cashmere as Social Media and PR Agency of Record

Jack in the Box recently announced that it has appointed Cashmere as its social media and PR agency of Record. David& Goliath is Jack in the Box’s creative agency of record, they have held this position since 2015. Before David& Goliath, Secret Weapon Marketing handled the account. Carat, an agency in the Dentsu Aegis Network is the brand’s media agency of record. The agency has held the position since 2017.

Jack in the Box Appoints Cashmere as Social Media and PR Agency of Record

 Jack in the Box has made another change to its media team with the appointment of Cashmere as their social media and PR agency of record. The appointment will include in-house production of social content across Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. They will also do a consultation for brand community management and public relations management. Cashmere began its partnership with Jack in the Box in February, with a digital marketing campaign around the Super Bowl.

Cashmere and Jack in the Box Speak on the Partnership

According to a statement, Jack in Box chose Cashmere to handle its account because of its creative and distinctive, social-first approach in targeting the multicultural, multigender and the now general market consumer. The Vice president of marketing communication at Jack in the box Adrienne Ingoldt spoke about the new partnership. He expressed the brand’s excitement to have Cashmere join their agency partner roster. Ingoldt explained what drew Jack in the Box to Cashmere. He stated that they were drawn to Cashmere’s culture-hacking insights and their creative ability to approach consumers and execute campaigns in a non-traditional way.

Rona Mercado Cashmere’s senior vice president also spoke about the new partnership. He commended Jack in the Box, stating that the brand had already established a unique brand voice and challenger persona. He stated that the brand’s voice and challenger persona has been crafted to appeal to an audience that the Cashmere Agency is specifically equipped to market to. Mercado talked about how the agency can’t wait to help elevate and evolve how the brand speaks and connect with their consumers.
