Apple recently had a special event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. At the special event, they made some big announcements about their new offerings. At the event, the tech giants Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook took the stage to make the announcements about their new offerings. Here are the big announcements Tim Cook made:

 Apple TV+

One of the tech’s giant biggest announcements was their Apple TV+. This is the brand’s OTT services, the service will feature original content from the brand. The service will feature original content from the likes of Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, Octavia Spencer and many more. It will also house channels like Hulu, Showtime, ESPN and HBO. According to the tech giants, they want the service to be the premier destination for high-quality storytelling. The service will be available in over 100 countries including the USA. Viewers can use the service in the TV app on an iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices. According to the brand, users won’t need an Apple device to use the service. The service will be launched in Fall 2019, the cost of the service was not announced at the event.

Another major announcement the brand made was that it will be expanding the offerings available on its News app. They will be adding magazines like Time, Vogue, National Geographic, Popular Science and so much more to its existing news content. Users can gain access to this service for $9.99 and would be available in the U.S and Canada for now. The tech giants plan to take the service to Australia, UK and other countries in Europe later this year. Family sharing will also be enabled on the service for no extra cost.

Apple Card

The tech giants also announced its own credit card called Apple Card. The credit card was created in partnership with Goldman Sachs and Master Card. There are digital versions and physical versions of the card. The digital version will live in the Wallet app of your iPhone. With the digital version, users can make online and in-store contactless purchases.  The physical version of the card is made of titanium, it doesn’t contain card number, expiry date, CVV security code or signature, like most cards. This is the tech’s giant’s way of protecting the user’s account information. The card will be made available by summer 2019. Users can apply for the card by using the Wallet app on their iPhone.

Apple Arcade

Another announcement made is the tech giant’s new game subscription service. Apple Arcade is a game subscription service for mobile, desktop and living room. The service allows artists and developers to share their digital visions and gaming masterpieces. The services will have over 100 exclusive games and will be available through the App Store. Users can use the service through their iPad, iPhone, Mac and Apple TV. The pricing for the service has yet to be revealed but they did say that Family sharing will be available for no extra cost. According to the brand, the service will be available in fall 2019 and would be available in 150 countries.
