Globacom Launches N150million Consumer Reward Promo


Globacom one of Nigeria’s leading telecom recently launched a consumer reward promo campaign. The telecom giants launched a 3-month long consumer reward promo. This promo campaign was created to reward its teeming consumers across the Nigerian market for their unwavering loyalty and steadfastness to the brand.

According to the brand, they will be rewarding consumers with gifts as part of the promo. The value of the gifts to be won during the promo campaign is valued at N150 million. The gifts to be won include 100 new Keke Napep, 400 electricity generating sets, 200 exotic Sewing machines, 300 grinding machines and so much more. This promo campaign is called “Recharge and Win Big with N200”.

The “Recharge and Win Big with N200” will run from October through to December 2019. The premise of the campaign is very simply. Users simply need to recharge their Globacom lines with at least N200 time to stand a chance to win any of the gifts. According to Globacom, if you recharge your line with N1,000, you have multiplied your chances of winning one of the prices by 5.

The telecom giants explained that the campaign was created to demonstrate the true friendly relationship between the brand and its customer. It was also created to empower their consumers in the face of the prevailing economic hardships.

Glo Speaks about the Promo Campaign

The Regional Director, Marketing Communications (West Africa), Jenarious Charles Barley spoke about the campaign. He explained that they aim to continuously express their goodwill to consumers. They want to build upon their relationships through the consumer reward scheme. Barley talked about how the Nigerian consumer market is currently going through a tough phase. He stated that they decided to launch the promo in a most auspicious time as this so as to give back and empower consumers of the brand.

According to him, the promo like this at this time will help improve upon the livelihood of the people. It’s all about empowering the subscribers and enabling them to win prizes that can significantly enhance their lives. The message they are passing on to their consumers out there is to hang on. They want them to be positive and be hopeful that things will later improve.
