According to an exclusive by Brand Communicator, Feyi Olubodun the Chief Executive Officer of Insight Publicis has left the advertising agency. According to the Brand Communicator article, the news was announced to the Insight Publicis staff on the 28th of November by Dr Ken Onyeali Ikpe the Group Chief Executive Officer of Insight Redefini.
Details about Feyi Olubodun’s Departure from Insight Publicis
In the Brand Communicator exclusive, it was revealed that Feyi Olubodun’s last day at Insight Publicis will be on the 30th of November. Brand Communicator reached out to Feyi Olubodun and he confirmed the news, he stated that his exit was a mutual decision between himself and Troyka. He said that after working for the agency for 10 years, he has decided to pursue other interests. There has been no official comment from the Insight Publicis board.
About Feyi Olubodun and his Journey in Insight Publicis
Feyi Olubodun graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University with a BSc in Psychology. After he gained his undergraduate degree, he went to further to get various postgraduate qualifications and degrees in prestigious schools. Feyi Olubodun joined the Insight Communications family in 2009 as an Account planning Manager. In 2010, he was promoted to the Associate Planning Director and Head of Account Planning for the agency. In 2015, Feyi Olubodun was promoted to the General Manager/Chief Operating Officer of the agency. He became the first ever non founder Chief Executive Officer of Insight Publicis in 2016.
Feyi Olubodun’s tenure at Insight Publicis was very successful, he played vital roles in winning some of the agency’s key accounts. The agency has gained a lot of recognition during his tenure as the CEO. During his tenure, the agency became the first West African agency to host a session at the Cannes Festival of creativity. The agency was also the first African agency to win WARC Social Strategy Award and an Epica award in Nigeria.
