Emzor Pharmaceutical, the makers of Emzor Paracetamol, recently renewed its contract with Nigerian football player Oshoala. They renewed the contract on the occasion of her appointment as the Captain of the Super Falcons.

At the ceremony for the renewal of the football stars contract, the MD/CEO of the pharmaceutical was present. Stella Okoli, the MD/CEO spoke about the endorsement. She stated that the pharmaceutical was supporting because her brand remains a huge inspiration to the Nigerian youth and the girl child in particular.

Okoli called the football star an inspiring young woman, who is also a great role model for young women in Nigeria.  She stated that Nigerians and the brand are very proud of her accomplishment. Okoli also commended her for her effort towards encouraging underprivileged girls through her foundation. According to Okoli, her foundation is one of the reasons why the brand is renewing its contract. They want her to continue to help girls in need.

Mark Redgaurd, Brand and Marketing, Emzor Pharmaceutical also spoke about the deal. He talked about how the brand is a big supporter of sports development among females in Nigeria. Redgaurad stated their support for sports is one of the reasons the brand has sponsored the national football teams for about five years. They have sponsored teams like Super Eagles and Super Falcons.

 About Oshoala

Oshoala is a celebrated Nigerian professional footballer. She plays for the Spanish Side FC Barcelona and is the Captain of the Super Falcons. Oshoala was born and brought up in the Ikorodu suburb of Lagos, Nigeria. She started her career at a local club in Mushin called FC Robo before her move to Rivers Angels where she broke out as the best player in the Nigeria Women Football League. Asisat has now played across Africa, Europe and Canada representing her country in several international matches. She top scores at matches and several best player awards has made her undoubtedly the face of Nigerian women football.
