Create with Google: Google Courts Creatives with Suite of New Ad Tools


Google recently announced the global launch of Create with Google at Cannes Lions. The Create with Google was previously launched in the Asia Pacific last year. With the global launch of this creative tools suite, Google is hoping to guide makers of creative marketing content across its platform. The creative tool will inspire, inform and enable creatives by offering tips and tools for every stage of the creative process.

About Create with Google

Create with Google is a global hub offered in English, Spanish, Korean and Japanese. It includes ‘best in class’ work, insider tips from across Google’s product suite and tools designed to propel ideas from pitch to production. The creative tools suite includes two tools which are called Audience Connect and YouTube Mockup Tool. These tools are aimed at creative agencies who want to create and sell work to brands that are partnering with Google directly.

The Audience Connect tool tracks client engagement in relation to any video. It provides real-time feedback on when audiences are listening and when they are zoned out. The YouTube Mockup tool is a facility for uploading work to clients and colleagues.  It allows creative upload and showcases their work to clients and colleagues in an “authentic YouTube environment.” This means it would simulate the creative across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Google Speaks on Create with Google

Pedro Pina, vice president, Google global client & agency solutions spoke on the platform. He talked about how there are more platforms, more signals, and more data sources informing creatives than ever before. He stated that they want their clients and partners to grow and thrive on their platforms. This is why they have made it a priority to invest in resources and tools to support creative makers and agencies at every stage of the creative process.

Pina stated that they are expanding a new resource for the global creative community (Create with Google). He stated that it is made for creatives and is made by creatives. Pina explained that the platform is designed to inspire, inform and enable creative makers from ideation to execution.

The platform is already proving to be a hit among creatives, seeing as they already have a number of clients who have signed up to the platform. They include RGA, Ford and Nestle Purina Petcare.
