Apple is taking its Shot on iPhone campaign to a whole new level this summer. The brand is using the campaign to bring music fans closer to artists. They are allowing music fans to connect with 16 starts by giving them an intimate look at these artists on tour. This campaign is called ‘Shot on iPhone On Tour’. The ‘Shot on iPhone On Tour’ features 16 international headliners who are on tour. The pictures will be featured in a new global out-of-home show and digital gallery and as you guessed all the pictures are shot on an iPhone.
About Apple’s Shot on iPhone on Tour Campaign
Each of the pictures featured on the campaign and the digital gallery has been captured by renowned music photographers. Many of these music photographers have close relationships with artists. Each picture featured in the campaign and digital gallery highlight an intimate viewpoint that reflects the blood, sweat and tears that go into a live performance. Viewers will get to see what a tour looks like from the artist’s point of view while on stage. It also captures what it feels like right after.

The campaign and the digital gallery features artists like Lizzo, Travis Scott, Kacey Musgraves, Chai, Tyler, the Creator, Idles, Tierra Whack, Leon Bridges, Skrillex, Sebastián Yatra, Jay de la Cueva, Gaye Su Akyol and Little Big. It features images from a variety of musical genres. The images portray each artist from a unique point of view on and off stage. Apple aims to show how the convenience of the iPhone camera enables each photographer to capture the authentic emotion and exhilaration of life as a musician on tour.
Apart from the OOH campaign and digital campaign, Apple is also releasing three mini-concert documentaries. The artists featured in the mini-concert documentaries include Florence & the Machine, FKA Twigs and Kamasi Washington. The three mini-concert documentaries are all shot on iPhone XS. Apple is releasing the documentaries on YouTube, Apple Music and Apple’s IGTV.
