Anheuser-Busch recently announced that it has acquired Cutwater Spirits. Cutwater Spirits will be joining Anheuser-Busch’s Beyond Beer portfolio. Anheuser-Busch is a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch In Bev, their acquisition of Cutwater spirits will be the brand’s first spirit’s business acquisition.

About Cutwater Spirits
Cutwater Spirits was founded in 2016, it has 7 premium mixers, 14 canned cocktails and 16 types of spirits which include different variations of whiskey, vodka, rum and gin. The company has achieved a lot even though it is a relatively new brand. It already distributes to 34 U.S states and operates out of a 50,000 square foot production facility.
About the Cutwater Spirit’s Acquisition
As part of the acquisition, Cutwaters will be adding its premium ready to enjoy cocktails to the Anheuser-Bush’s portfolio. They will be adding their premium cocktails to the brands Beyond Beer line. The line already has beverages like Babe Rose, Hiball and Ritas. Following the acquisition, Cutwater Spirits business will continue to be led Yuseff Cherney and Earl Knight from Cutwaters Spirit. They will be assisted by other senior-level managers from both Cutwaters and the beer company. With the help of the beer company, Cutwater will be able to scale the brand, using the beer company’s expertise in logistics and distribution, brand-building and packaging.
