This is the number one forecast destination, it has seen a 729% YoY increase. According to Airbnb, it has seen a surge of interest in Milwaukee as a travel destination. One of the factors attributing to the surge in interest is the fact that it is the host of next year’s Democratic National Convention. Milwaukee has an incredible bar and restaurant scene and fascinating cultural attractions that include a Calatrava-designed art museum.
According to Airbnb, Bilbao has seen a 402% YoY increase. The city, which is in the Basque country in northern Spain, is known for its Bilbao Guggenheim Museum. Its transformation from rust belt city to flourishing culture hub is truly remarkable. Bilbao must be a great travel destination because in 2018 it won the European City of the Year. Tourists can enjoy a wonderful dining scene, breathtaking architecture and an unforgettable cityscape. Bilbao is set to be one of the host cities for Europe’s most beloved soccer competition next year.
This province saw a 383% YoY increase. It is a rural province in southeastern Thailand (about 200 miles from Bangkok) that has some of the country’s “most treasured Khmer relics”. Buriram’s best-known monument is the incredible Phanom Rung complex which is comparable in grandeur to its much more famous Cambodian neighbour, Angkor Wat. Another reason Buriram is trending is that it has also become a sporting hotspot like Bilbao.

This travel destination saw a 255% YoY increase. Xi’an has been cited as one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization. This travel destination is best known as the home of the terracotta warriors ( a vast collection of prehistoric clay soldiers discovered by local farmers in 1974). Xi’an is now known as a major culinary melting pot while its numerous historical monuments have earned it the nickname “China’s outdoor museum”. In 2020, this city will be offering a tourism program that will introduce 30 nighttime tour routes throughout Xi’an with highlights including nighttime markets and performances.
Eugene saw a 213% YoY increase. It is a medium-sized city located in the Pacific Northwest. This city has made a name for itself as a business and culinary hub. Many multinational businesses were launched in Eugene and it is a major culinary hub in Oregon. It is also a very beautiful city that attracts eco-conscious newcomers. In 2020 this city will be hosting the national qualifying trials.
